2ND ANNUAL NEWCASTLE BLUES & ROOTS FESTIVAL – SATURDAY, JANUARY 28TH 2017 @ CARRINGTON BOWLING CLUB
Following Newcastle Blues and Roots Festival‘s successfully debut in January 2016, we are proud and delighted to announce that Newcastle Blues and Roots Festival will be back in 20017 on the 28th of January at our new home The Carrington Bowling Club. 2017 will boast a stellar line-up of Newcastle’s very own talented local artists combined with our favourite touring artists. Along with a full day jam-packed with sensational live music, there will be delicious delicacies from around the world, boutique stalls, face painting and a jumping castle all in a family friendly atmosphere.
The massive line-up includes Newcastle legend Justin Ngariki & The Lazy Lamas, Funksters Plastic Voyage, some funky Rock and Blues with heavy grooves from the Swamp Stompers….
…. Some down and dirty Blues, Rock/Folk from the one man band Roy Rose, Newcastle’s queen of the Blues Annie O’Dee & The Hot Shoots, coastal surf Rock funksters New Black Shades….
