Swamp House News & Reviews

One of the most exciting and endearing Australian indie-rock outfits, Bad Pony, will be bringing their Sideways tour to the Cambridge Hotel this Friday, July 29th.

The new single ‘Sideways’ – a DIY self-produced effort recorded at guitarist Cron Van Niekerk’s home studio. filled with infectious hooks from start-to-finish, ‘Sideways’ is a fun and fey indie-pop cut that draws inspiration from Two Door Cinema Club, Phoenix and Local Natives, whilst still retaining it’s own unique flavour; further confirming the Sydney-based group’s ability to effortlessly deliver outstanding eclectic tracks.

Previous singles ‘Zombie’, ‘Down To You’ and ‘Michael Moore’ all received strong support online and from Australian radio with triple j and a slew of community stations embracing the songs with regular play and rave reviews.
