Well… Heat 3, Passport To Airlie 2017 would have to go down as the loudest heat in the Newcastle comps history with a rocking wall of sound from punksters viAgro, The Grounds and rockers WYSPER, giving the grand old Stag a good shake with three red hot sets. Some decibel relief came to our ringing ears with Sid Berry closing the night with some fine Reggae beats and loops. All up another sensational night of live and local music.
Congratulations to heat 3 winners viAgro and WYSPER who will be joining Diplazar, The Reo Fenders, Bravo Victor and Arcades and Lions in the semi-finals later this month.
Heat 4 kicks off at The Stag this Sunday, September 3rd at 4.00pm with Stone Sun, Slide Milligan, The Pits, Red City and Thomas Macokatic.
Head on into The Stag & Hunter Hotel, support the bands, enjoy some damn fine local live music, great food, and good company. There is plenty of cool prizes for the punters as well with $50.00 bar tabs, Tickets to Airlie Beach Music Festival and a cool Fender Guitar all up for grabs.
