We made the trip into Lizotte’s for last Wednesday night’s Live N Local, always great for a midweek fix of live music, Three sets on stage at one of Australias most beautiful venues, damn fine food and cold Coopers Pale on tap what more could you ask for.
CMAA Academy of Country Music Graduate, Chelsea Rollings opened the night superbly, this young Hunter Vally artist is a talented song writer with a beautiful voice, Chelsea has a big future in the industry. Next up was one man band Sid Berry with plenty of smooth reggae beats and cool live looping.
Closing the night was one of the Hunter Valley’s finest Singer Songwriters and the man behind Maitland anthem ‘Carrington Street’, Dave Wells, we are huge fans of Dave’s work and it was great to catch him on stage at Lizotte’s. Backing Dave up on the night was Robbie Long (Guitar) and Todd Johnston (Bass)
