In what has been a stellar season for Boy George on The Voice, it is with much excitement that his most popular team member, Hoseah Partsch has announced he will join international superstars, Culture Club on their Australian tour later this year, with show right here in Newie at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Sunday, December 3rd .  Culture Club is led by frontman, Boy George who endeared himself to new Australian audiences as their favourite coach on TV’s top rating show The Voice.

Hoseah Partsch

Hoseah, who proved to be one of the most sought after contestants, captivated audiences around Australia, not only from his humble beginnings, but with his effortless and soulful voice – a voice which could not be denied.   Hoseah became a show favourite after he joined Team George, and through his coach’s guidance and flawless choice of songs, captured the attention of viewers across the country.  The Grand Final show on this past Sunday saw a very special TV moment when George & Hoseah performed an inspiring and perfectly fitting version of the Louis Armstrong classic ‘’What a Wonderful World’’.  Says Boy George I’m so very proud of Hoseah.  He’s not only a wonderfully talented artist, he’s a fabulous guy with a big heart and I’m backing him.  I’m delighted to welcome him to the Culture Club tour’’.

In 2016, Culture Club’s triumphant return sold out some of the world’s most iconic venues including the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles (two nights) and London’s famous Wembley Arena.  Culture Club proceeded to sell out shows across the rest of the world including the UK, Europe, and USA, making their resurgence one of the most noteworthy success stories of today.

Special guests will be Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, who will play hits live for the first time in 27 years.  Thompson Twins had huge hits – songs such as ‘Hold Me Now’, ‘Doctor Doctor’, ‘You Take Me Up’, and ‘Love On Your Side’ provided the soundtrack for many people’s lives worldwide in the mid-eighties.  It’s been 32 years since Thompson Twins have been to Australia and no doubt fans will welcome Tom Bailey back with open arms.

Eurogliders took the charts by storm in the 1980s.  In 1984, Eurogliders released their album This Island, which spawned their No. 2 hit single, ‘Heaven (Must Be There).’  Another Australian top ten album, Absolutely, followed in 1985, which provided three further top ten singles, including ‘We Will Together’.  Grace and Bernie, along with their superb band, have reunited to once again captivate audiences with their sophisticated and high-energy brand of pop. Eurogliders will play all shows (except Perth).

The Human League will be special guests for Perth audiences only (as part of the Culture Club tour).  The Human League have sold millions of records, inspired two generations of artists, written some of the all-time great classic pop songs, had No. 1’s across the world and yet still remain fiercely independent.   Watch this space for more Human League headline shows to be announced in other cities very soon.
