Palace of the King is the latest indie rock band to join powerhouse independent record label, Golden Robot Records, inking a worldwide deal for their upcoming album and joining the likes of Dizzy Reed, Rose Tattoo, The Superjesus, Mi-Sex, Toe to Toe, Kilbey Kennedy, Ben Gillies, The Heartache State, The Cherry Dolls, The Lockhearts, High Tropics and more.

Known for their bluesy, soul-infused, riff-heavy, psychedelic rock n roll, Palace of the King have spent years conquering stages across the world, and will further cement their position with the release of their third full-length studio album, Get Right With Your Maker in 2018, plus a stack more tour dates both locally and internationally.

We’ve spent most of 2016/17 on the road and hit the studio whenever we were off the road.  We’re pumped about the new album and can’t wait to get it out there and get back on that road!” – Tim Henwood, Palace of the King.

Palace Of The King are: Tim Henwood – vocals/guitar, Sean Johnston – keys/guitar, Travis Dragani – drums and Anthony Licciardi Garcia – bass

Formed in late 2012, Palace Of The King – nameless at that point – quickly recorded a 3 track demo and developed the vision of a blues-infused rock and roll band. Far from a grave-robbing retro trip, Palace Of The King has just as much in common with Rival Sons, Graveyard and Jack White as they do Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple – when bands released an album a year and toured ’til the wheels fell off the tour van.

They’ve since released 2 EPs, 2 full-length albums, a limited edition vinyl, and toured extensively throughout Europe, Australia, and the US, alongside the likes of Airbourne, The Angels, Baby Animals and the Screaming Jets, earning their stripes and wearing them with pride.

In classic road dog style, the band took every opportunity they were off the road to get in and record and capture that raw stage energy for their forthcoming album Get Right With Your Maker, out through Golden Robot Records early 2018.
