Heat one kicked off last Sunday at The Stag with four massive sets from Imaginary Things, Science Rockets, Elisa Kate, The Letter Tellers and Skylights.

In a tight heat, winners on the night were The Letter Teller and Elisa Kate (with Dave Javier) with Imaginary Things and Science Rockets still have a chance to make it to the finals with the two wildcards up for grabs.
Heat Two kicks off this Sunday, August 11th and it should be a cracker with performances from Wesley’s Edge, Sid Berry, Time On Earth, Glovers Lane and India & The Journey To The East.
Come along to Newcastle’s home of original live music this Sunday from 4.00pm and not only do you get to enjoy some fine local original acts, but you will also have a chance to win a Fender Guitar! Fender and Panhead Brewery have teamed up with The Stag and Hunter for an epic competition running during the heats of the Passport to Airlie shows, with a Fender Stratocaster up for grabs as the grand prize.
