Thursday night Live at The Cambridge – November 10th.

This week’s ‘Thursday night Live’ is set to be a cracker with Sydney’s three piece Experimental Pop Rockers, RACKETT. Since forming at the start of 2016 RACKETT have been steadily crafting an adventurous live show which has been described by The Music as ‘outstanding… this outfit is one to watch’.

Newcastle’s In Motion fresh back from their big win at the national Passport To Airlie Comp (Airlie Beach Music Festival), In Motion are a three-piece Alt-Rock band fresh out of Newcastle who formed in early 2014. In Motion consist of Jack Davis (drums + vox), Daniel Ennis (guitar) and Lachlan Fisher (bass + lead vox) we are big fans of this young band here at The Swamp House.

Nicholas Connors with his newest venture Nicholas Connors & The Lords of Leisure. After spending a year in Melbourne, Nicholas has returned home to his roots, focusing on story and songwriting, with a heavy influence from American Blues and British Rock n’ Roll. The Lords of Leisure are Brennan Fell on Bass (Black Lung Cartel), Fraser Marshall on Drums (Pals, Lachlan X. Morris) and James Hodgett on Keys (William John Jr, Haestings).

HAESTINGS, Forged from a love of 90’s alternative rock, shoegaze, and psychedelia, ‘Haestings‘ is a project of multi-instrumentalist Hamish White (frontman of Triple J unearthed favourites Level Head and guitarist of Unearthed high finalists The Guppies and Life Coach).
Haestings debut single ‘I See Static’ features a powerful combination of early 90s alt rock guitars and highly personal and confronting lyrics detailing battles with serious mental illness.
