Melbourne based Americana/Alt. Country rockers Tracy McNeil & The GoodLife will be heading off on their Spring Break Tour later this month, with the tour kicking off at one of the Hunter Valleys finest live music venues, the fabulous Junkyard – Mailand on Friday, September 22nd.
With her latest album ‘Thieves’ (winner Best Country Album, The Age Music Victoria Awards 2016), Tracy McNeil and her band The GoodLife deliver classic Americana infused with a healthy dose of Californian shimmer, harking back to the halcyon days of late 70s L.A country rock with Laurel Canyon-esque harmonies hung on pop-hooks that warm your heart and soothe your soul.

After her last national album tour which included appearances at Out On the Weekend, Dashville Skyline, Bigsound and Beechworth Music Festival, Tracy is ready to once again hit the road with the GoodLife in tow for a mini Spring Break Tour with some new material in hand.
That’s right…the seed for a new album in 2018 has been planted! McNeil has been writing throughout the year and TGL are now ready and raring to test-drive some of the new songs. And what better way to do that than on the road? They will be hitting NSW, regional Victoria, and finishing off with a spot at Welcome to Morrisonville Festival in Brisbane, QLD.

With the shimmery addition of Brendan McMahon on keys, Dan Parsons on lead guitar, Bree Hartley on drums, Trent McKenzie on bass and McNeil on lead vocals and guitar – the band sounds like a band that simply loves playing together – it’s palpable, it’s electric, it’s been described as ‘world class country-rock.’ Go get yourself some.
