Back in October last year a group of four Aussie music legends banded together for a jam at the Sydney Blues & Roots Festival, they called themselves Freedom Friends.

Freedom Friends were a huge hit at the festival and when you look at their pedigree there is no doubting why.

Freedom Friends are:  On Vocals and Keys – Mitch Anderson, Finalist on the Voice Australia 2013, with a career spanning over twenty years, Mitch is arguably one of the best white soul singers doing the rounds at the moment.

Paul Wheeler – Drums, Paul has graced the stage with Aussie music legends including Spy v Spy, Icehouse, Kevin Borich, Russell Morris and Brian Cadd just to name a few.

Harry Brus – Bass, a true legend and Bass player to the stars, with a career spanning over five decades. Last but not least on Guitar, Newcastle’s very own Dai Pritchard. A member of The Billy Thorpe Band for 8 years, prior to receiving a personal request by the late Pete Wells and Angry Anderson of  Rose Tattoo to continue the story. Taking his place as a full time member of the iconic Australian Rock band ROSE TATTOO in 2004, conquering numerous European festivals such as Wacken, Germany & Donnington, England. Dai continues to raise the bar with invited guest performances with no other than world renowned guitarist “SLASH” (Guns N Roses) at the “Hisense Arena in Melbourne”
