After earlier this year receiving a Queensland Music Award for her debut single, Wild Heart, folk/alt-country artist, Emma Beau, has released the second single, Leading Me Astray, from her upcoming self-titled full-length debut album scheduled for release on June 28, with the CD now available for pre-order via www.emmabeau.com
The new album represents years of songwriting and is the culmination of Emma’s experiences whilst touring Australia performing as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist on Kasey Chambers Bittersweet Tour, Shane Nicholson’s Hell Breaks loose tour, and Jon English’s Six Is Enough tour.
Emma immersed herself, dedicated to refining her craft and also maturing as a solo artist, simultaneously touring as a musician in her own right. With her quirky personality, angelic voice, and multi-instrumental virtuosity, she sets the stage alive with her blend of folk/acoustic/roots music.
The album came about through a successful crowdfunding campaign, in which hundreds of Emma’s fans sought to fund the release of her album prior to its release.
“I’m so grateful to my crowdfunding team for making this album possible – they are my record label. It’s always in the back of my mind when I make clips, music and do photo shoots…I want my fans to be part of every bit of the process and I think we’ve achieved that.” – Emma Beau
