Brit Award-nominated three-piece London Grammar today announce that they will be returning to Australia for a massive national headline tour throughout September. The tour will see Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman, and Dot Major perform shows across four states in some of the country’s most esteemed venues and arenas; Fremantle Arts Centre, Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena, and not one but two shows at the iconic Sydney Opera House. The trio is also set to headline Brisbane Festival’s marquee music event; a curated outdoor concert at Brisbane’s beautiful Riverstage with a full supporting line-up to be announced July 11.

The tour announcement also marks the release of their stunning, critically acclaimed second album ‘Truth Is A Beautiful Thing’, which is out tomorrow, June 9 via Dew Process / UMA. Special guests to be announced and tickets are on sale 9:00 am, Friday 16 June.
London Grammar first captivated Australian audiences back in 2013 with their debut performances in the country at The Falls Music And Arts Festival, as well as three, sold-out sideshows. In September the same year, their debut LP If You Wait entered the ARIA Albums Chart at #2, went on to sell over two million copies worldwide, and saw them awarded a prestigious Ivor Novello Award for the spectacular single, ‘Strong’.
In 2015, they returned to Australia to play to rapt audiences at sold-out arena shows, including Redhill Auditorium, Riverstage and Festival Hall, plus two Sydney shows at the Hordern Pavilion and Enmore Theatre with the likes of The Music declaring, “with Reid’s vocals pushing the performance to new heights, elating every soul and leaving everyone hoping that it’s not as long between visits for London Grammar.”
The band returned to Australia over the new year, once again to perform on the Falls Festival stage; this time as a headliner. They celebrated the occasion by ensuring Aussie fans were the first in the world to hear brand-new material from the forthcoming album, when they debuted the heart-wrenching, ‘Rooting For You’. Now the trio is poised to return once again to their home away from home for the fourth time, armed with the rest of the exquisite songs from ‘Truth Is A Beautiful Thing’.
Truth Is A Beautiful Thing Production credits come courtesy of Paul Epworth, the multi-Grammy and Oscar-winning producer for the likes of Florence & The Machine and Adele. The album also features production by friend and Mercury-nominee Jon Hopkins (Brian Eno, King Creosote) on the sweeping lead single ‘Big Picture’, as well as colour and depth provided by the genius of the 32-piece City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, who play across the record. The band also worked with LA based Greg Kurstin (Sia, Beck) as well as Tim Bran and Roy Kerr.
