Blistering riffs and rock anthems is what you’ll get when two of our finest hard hitters – Palace Of The King and The Poor – team up for their When The King Met The Poor East Coast tour.
Palace Of The King have picked up a solid fanbase both here and internationally thanks to three critically acclaimed albums, and a relentless touring schedule which has seen them support Airbourne & headline shows throughout Europe. The past year alone has seen the Melbourne psych-blues four-piece on tour around the country with Rose Tattoo, The Baby Animals and The Screaming Jets. Following their run with The Poor, POTK will hit Europe & The US for more shows and will release a new single from their forthcoming fourth album. Stay tuned.
The Poor are renowned for their straight-shooting pub rock. Formed in Darwin, throughout the 90’s the hard rock outfit were a force on the scene packing out venues and supporting the likes of AC/DC, KISS, Van Halen, Alice in Chains, Suicidal Tendencies and more… They toured through Europe, Japan and the US and claimed the # 1 spot on US Rock Radio with their classic single More Wine Waiter Please (from their hit debut album Who Cares). After a ten-year hiatus, the band released follow up albums Round One and Round Two. Expect to hear some belters from Skenie and the boys when they take to the stage on this tour.
