Wollombi Music Festival announces it’s 2017 lineup, celebrating it’s 8th year and an exciting new home ‘Down by The Millpond’ at Wollombi NSW. The crew at Wollombi Music Festivalhave today announced a cracker line-up of 12 bands, that is set to rock the Mountains this September 30th.
WOLLOMBI MUSIC FESTIVAL 2017 OFFICIAL LINEUP ANNOUNCEMENT!There is no better way to kick off the Spring festival season than to head to Wollombi for the October long weekend to bask in the glow of fantastic music, celebration, community & great vibes. As always we've put together a mixed bag of musical treats across multiple genres from gentle folk harmonies to gutsy blues rock, with reggae, dub, blues & roots sprinkled in generous proportions in a classic Wollombi lineup. Wollombi 2017 is Lime Cordiale (Full Band), Caiti Baker (Full Band), we have 2 Bluesfest Byron Bay busking comp winners in IVY & Tay Oskee, Dubarray returns to perform an expanded show on the Big Yengo Stage, starlet Emily Wurramara (Trio), Forster locals The Ruiins join us for the 1st time, we're stoked we've got Newcastle legends CORNSTALK as an 11-piece on our bill, reggae funsters The Kava Kings & good friends The Hillbilly Goats, we've got serious groove from Declan Kelly Music & his band The Rising Sun & beautiful harmonies from soulful quartet Night Kite.12 awesome acts & of course you'll be getting some serious dance on – it's Wollombi!!We'll also be joined by Wollombi family The Rhythm Hut with another epic Drum Circle & the all funk n' groove Silent Disco returns in 2017. Combining a beautiful mountain setting with an awesome adjacent onsite camping area or offsite camping at Wollombi Tavern, the festival fills it’s 2 stages with an eclectic mix of Australian artists, quality market stalls, great food & drinks at reasonable prices, a designated Kidsfest area (Yes Wollombi is family friendly), their epic drum circle, Silent Disco, Friday night launch party & a whole heap more.
